Art is a sought-after and successful subject at The Golden Circle. It offers a wonderful opportunity for children who are fascinated by the visual world to express themselves creatively, self-reflect, and develop their work. Our approach is predominantly Fine Art-based, but skills are also developed in other artistic disciplines including graphic design, photography and filmmaking. Guided by our students’ interests, our highly qualified Art teachers introduce a range of artistic processes and explore cutting-edge techniques. Ambitious projects come to fruition and our students develop a secure and confident understanding of a wide range of materials, processes and techniques.
Our teachers are located in London, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge. In each of these cities resides impressive architecture, leading art galleries and museums. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we believe that seeing art is fundamental to one’s understanding of it. We encourage students to attend art exhibitions and, wherever possible, offer excursions which develop a rich depth to their understanding.
The Golden Circle helps students gain places and win scholarships at schools such as Bryanston, Charterhouse and Harrow, and achieve places at top institutions such as Central Saint Martins, Goldsmiths University and Pratt Institute. Our qualified Art teachers have taught at many of the UK’s top independent and grammar schools and our extensive network of consultants gives students access to professional artists, gallery curators and auction houses.
Our Art services include one-to-one tuition, portfolio preparation, residential tuition, mock interviews and exam preparation. With our guidance and support, Golden Circle students achieve Art Scholarships at 11+, top grades at GCSE and A-Level, and places on first choice Foundation or Degree courses.

"George found your summer classes very inspiring. Watercolours, acrylics, charcoal, printing - he’s been introduced to so many mediums and techniques! I think this will put him in good stead for secondary school Art and, more generally, in managing stress when it comes to secondary exams."
