Computer Science is a cutting-edge and exciting subject. Recent circumstances – the pandemic, US election, and changing economy – have highlighted how much we depend on technology. With every industry using and becoming more reliant on technology, learning computing is an opportunity which shouldn’t be ignored. It creates future leaders who can find solutions to problems that arise in modern society.
Our enthusiastic Computer Science specialists help prepare students for exams and their next level of study. Our team includes Heads of Department and Computer Science Subject Leads at high performing schools. Many are also part of networking communities. This means they stay on top of the latest teaching methods, curriculum changes, and collaborate with hundreds of fellow Computing educators to make Computer Science lessons fun and accessible! Our lessons address common misconceptions, enhance subject knowledge, and improve exam technique through model answers, key word glossaries, and timed exercises.
We teach children from primary age to GCSE and A Level. These students develop the skills for living and thriving in a digital world. They learn how computers work, how to build one from scratch, and how to develop computer programmes which creatively tackle real-life problems. This leads them to academic success and develops analytical skills which improve academic performance in other STEM subjects.
