Music is an inspiring and rewarding subject at The Golden Circle. Music lessons are tailored to the needs of each student. Talented Music teachers prepare students for ABRSM examinations (performances and Music Theory), GCSE Music, and A Level Music exams. We also offer Music Therapy lessons for children with autism, or facing mental health challenges, and enjoyable recreational Music lessons for children with a passion for singing, acapella, or playing a musical instrument.

Teachers have been specifically chosen for their exceptional musical talent, educational background and teaching experience. All hold a Music degree from a top UK university, have a teaching qualification and a minimum of two years of classroom experience. Teachers are active musicians and many perform in renowned choirs and orchestras. The musical specialisms of our team includes the piano, guitar, drums, saxophone, flute, cello, and clarinet, among others.

Through Music lessons, students perfect their performance, composition, listening, and analytical skills. We encourage students to attend concerts, operas and musical performances to enhance their understanding of the subject. They develop an informed appreciation of a wide variety of music which inspires unique compositions and exquisite performances. Each year, students are successfully prepared for Music scholarships at top UK schools including St Paul’s School, Westminster School, Caterham and Rugby School.

"I am getting in touch to share the wonderful news that our son has been offered a place to read Music at New College. We are delighted! James has been absolutely wonderful and we can’t speak highly enough of him. Our son has enjoyed each and every one of his sessions and has benefited immeasurably from James’ insight into the Oxbridge application and interview process. Thank you."

"My daughter LOVES her Music lessons. Isobel is a fun, kind and approachable teacher and they have an excellent rapport. She has spent time getting to know and understand my daughter and has tapped into her passion for musicals. My daughter has learned so much about melody, rhythm, and tonality, that she now has the skills and knowledge to translate her ideas into compositions. Isobel is absolutely perfect for us."
