Ava has had a great run with the exams and passed them both. Holly has been amazing, and Ava continues to enjoy her sessions with her. She’s looking forward to starting her new school in September!

Maria, Mother of Ava (Year 4)

The lessons have been excellent. Georgia was prepared with last papers from Emanuel School and she identified and explained the areas that Clementine needed help with in the first lesson. In her own words, Clemmie said the tutorials have been wonderful.

Elisa, Mother of Clementine (Year 6)

Senior School Age (13 -18)

Between the ages of 13 and 18 years old students will be tested more frequently and more intensely than at any other time in their lives. It is important that during this time students have prepared well and are resilient to the pressure. Whether your child is preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels or entrance exams, we develop bespoke tuition programmes across multiple subjects which deliver results.

Our tutors are inspiring educators with experience guiding students through challenging examination periods, preparing them for admission tests, and supporting their long term academic aspirations. They are graduates of top universities, qualified teachers and many are also GCSE or A level examiners.

  • GCSEs and IGCSEs
  • AS-Levels & A-Levels
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Entrance Exams

I just want to thank to thank you for your work with Matthew so far. He seems to have made a leap forward with his source essays and that’s all down to the wonders you work.

Verity, Mother of Matthew and Harry (Year 13)

Sam was really enthusiastic and positive after the lesson and said that Ruth was his ‘best ever’ teacher! It’s probably a little early to confirm that but is clearly a fantastic start.

University Admissions

To be admitted to a first-choice higher education institution, even the brightest applicants need to be able to demonstrate their full academic potential. To prepare students for this, The Golden Circle draws upon extensive experience to offer tailored support programmes which maximise the chances of securing a place.

Our tutoring for Oxbridge interviews and university applications is designed to perfect personal statements, develop subject knowledge and improve articulation of ideas. All of our tutors have first-hand experience of the application and interview process and working with them increases the chances of success. Contact us to find out how we can help.

I am happy to report that the tutorials went really well. Mia ‘clicked’ with Freddie, and she came out with strategies to take forward, useful tips and a plan for revision. I could see she was enthused about the process and the help. So overall excellent!

David, Father of Mia (Year 13)

Mustafa had his heart set on Oxford University for a long time. Mark showed him how to prepare methodically for the Geography interview – introducing him to a wide range of academic papers, blogs and podcasts. In lessons, he pushed him to think critically and challenge ideas. I think this was the key to his success.

Mohammed, Father of Mustafa (Year 13)
Tutorials are delivered in person or remotely. For those living abroad or outside of London, Skype tuition is an excellent way of delivering flexible one-to-one support.
