Aspirations and Talents

We want students to be intellectually curious and fascinated by the process of discovery. One-to-one mentoring sessions, delivered by inspiring qualified teachers, focus on character development. Attributes are developed by which high performers excel, and The Golden Circle’s community values – courage, critical thinking, compassion, growth mindset and self-reflection. These sessions equip children with the skills they need for success in school and in life.

By positively engaging children in learning, we develop confident, resilient students who take ownership of their work. This results in better grades and academic excellence.

Ages 7 – 11

This is the first opportunity to join The Golden Circle’s mentoring programme. Engage the help of a mentor to get your child excited about learning ahead of exams, give them a confidence boost or begin 7+, 8+ or 11+ preparation. We work closely with families to match you with a mentor who’s the right fit and has extensive experience mentoring at Key Stage 2.

Ages 12 – 16

This is one of the most important ages for mentoring – to help children manage the step up to secondary school. Mentors can help with school transitions, 13+ or GCSE preparation, and social and emotional issues. Once we’ve found the perfect mentor for your child, the team checks in regularly to optimise your mentoring journey.

Ages 16 – 18

Now young adults, students use mentors for A Level support, university guidance, application, assessment and interview preparation. As your child fledges the nest, mentors are here to support the next exciting step in their education.

Our Locations

Teachers are located in London, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge.

  • London

In person lessons are offered across central London. Teachers deliver lessons in person to families who live in Zones 1-6 and within commutable distance from London. Additional travel charges may apply for those outside of the city. For families living outside of central London, we recommend working with an online tutor, booking full or half-day lessons, or blended learning - a combination of in person and online lessons.

  • The Rest Of The UK

Including Manchester, Bristol, Oxford & Cambridge. Teachers deliver in person lessons in these cities. For families living in other parts of the UK, we recommend residential tuition. Residential tuition, ranging from several days to several weeks, is an immersive learning experience for students. Over the years, we have organised hundreds of residential placements to prepare students for exams. These intensive revision programmes accelerate learning and are a key part of student success.
