First of all, our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. In light of Coronavirus, we are advising that, where possible, lessons should be taught online. Our teachers have been briefed on how to run online tutorials effectively and we hope this will enable our students to continue making good academic progress.
As you will know, schools across London have made the decision to close this term. This will be disruptive for students and their families, however it doesn’t mean that learning has to stop. Here are a few tips for students on how to use this time wisely:
Set up a routine and timetable which includes time for breaks and physical activity.
Set up a home classroom for studying which is separate to your bedroom.
Make use of online educational tools which guide and support learning. Please see below some of our recommendations:
Quizlet – free online quizzes
Twinkl – KS1 – 3 worksheets and interactive activities (one month free trial)
BBC bitesize quizzes
Amoeba sisters – Science Youtube videos
Seneca revision – GCSE revision activities
Physics and Maths Tutor – online GCSE and A Level revision tool
